After getting there, we went to the condo and changed into beach wear - shorts and t shirt. It was great to get out of the riding jeans and boots. We then hung out at the Wahoo, eating, watching the water, talking. It was really relaxing. We then jumped in the pool and cooled off a while before getting back on and riding along the Expressway home. That was up close and personal with a lot of cars but we got back fine. I gassed up the motorcycle and returned it to Chico. Great day. I even got a Wahoo Saloon t shirt to remember the day.
The boyfriend bought a harley softtail deluxe in May. It's a 2005 but only had 1800 miles on it and had been fully chromed. He found a killer deal on it and was able to indulge yet another whim--- he hasn't been out on it yet because he felt like he needed lessons since it's such a powerful bike. The last motorcycle he drove was several years ago and a much less powerful bike. So I am glad he's taking lessons... I will worry less. But your ride sounds like the reason people get bikes-- sounds peaceful and fun....
